Job Summary We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer (MEP Projects) to ensure that all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, and Firefighting works are executed in compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, quality standards, and client requirements. The candidate will be responsible for inspections, testing, documentation, and quality control throughout all project phases. Key Responsibilities ✅ Implement and monitor the Project Quality Management System (QMS). ✅ Conduct inspections of MEP installations to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards. ✅ Prepare and review Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and quality procedures. ✅ Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and project teams regarding quality-related matters. ✅ Perform material inspections and verify compliance with approved submittals. ✅ Prepare, submit, and follow up on Inspection Requests (IRs) and Material Inspection Requests (MIRs). ✅ Monitor testing and commissioning activities and maintain quality records. ✅ Identify non-conformities (NCRs), recommend corrective actions, and ensure proper closure. ✅ Maintain quality documentation, reports, checklists, and project records. ✅ Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, project specifications, and international standards. ✅ Participate in internal audits and quality improvement initiatives. ✅ Support project handover documentation and final quality inspections. Requirements ✔ Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. ✔ Minimum 3–8 years of experience as a QA/QC Engineer in MEP construction projects. ✔ Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, ELV, and firefighting systems. ✔ Familiarity with quality standards, testing procedures, and commissioning processes. ✔ Experience in preparing ITPs, Method Statements, NCRs, MIRs, and quality reports. ✔ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs. ✔ Good communication, documentation, and coordination skills. ✔ Experience in commercial, residential, high-rise, or industrial projects preferred. ✔ Must be currently residing in the UAE.
